 Introduction / trailer "Script":

Hello everyone im your host Ryan.
todays episode of the podcast will focus on what minecraft actually is
for the few people that stumbled upon this podcast

Minecraft is a sandox survival game. whats a sandbox game?
A sandbox game is any video game that lets you utlilise your creativity to complete a task or just for fun!
some other sandbox games include terraria and Garry's Mod
but back to minecraft.

When you start the game you have no items and have to punch a tree with your bare hands to get wood
so you can make yourself some tools. then mine stone with said tools to get better tool and so on.

The actual end objective of the game is to kill the Ender dragon. Although many players haven't done this since they either don't care about the endgame and just want to build nice things or they aren't confident to fight it. That is whats great about minecraft, you don't have to beat the game to have fun.

Over the games duration we have seen minecraft as a means of story telling. Some great examples of this would be The Yogscasts: Shadow Of Israphel and The DreamSMP, both of which i love. The goal in this case isn't to kill the ender dragon but to further the story and come to that long awaited conclusion.

So now you know the vast amount of things that you can do in Minecraft i can start talking about more specific topics to do with the game in later episodes.

1st Epidsode Script "Herobrine"

Hello everyone, i am your host Ryan and today i will be talking about the legend of herobrine.

The old Minecraft tale of herobrine surfaced in 2010 when someone wrote a creepypasta depicting this character doing things to the player world like strip the trees of all its leafs, random piramid structures, holes and more. The story of this scary character is that it's notches, the creator of minecraft, deceased brother that haunts the game. His appearence being the base steve skin but with dead white eyes

One of minecrafts music discs, "11" is said to be the "herobrine disc" since its visually broken and all you can hear is breathing and cave sounds. although the composer c418 has denied this

Me and all my friends believed in herobrine when we were younger after binging "REAL HEROBRINE SITING" videos on youtube. A cave which looked man made? Herobrine. A Block i didn't remember placing? herobrine.

Did herobrine exist?

I Think its very clear that herobrine doesnt exist, he's just a well executed hoax / creepypasta that fooled many children and became a money machine for creators. But how do we explain the trees, pryamids and holes?! It's simple, the game was in its beta stages and was extremely prone to glitching and corrupting. These corruptions would leave chunck errors and everything else mentioned. so Dispite herobrine never being in the game itself, every update he is removed.

Apart from the 1.16 nether update where he wasnt mentioned for the first time since beta 1.6.6. so who knows maybe herobrine is lurking about once again. i guess we wont find out until there are random pyramids, 2x2 holes and leafless trees, but that might be too late.

 Audio Gathering:

I Mention breaking wood in the game so i thought it would be cool to have the game sound of this in the background as i am saying it, I couldnt find a good version on youtube so i gathered it myself:

I Used music from the games OST created by C418 for my podcast but i also used Music from Purple Planet as well. For the actual herobrine episode i gathered some creepy music to fit along the theme of the videoo

Icon:

I got 4 images in a 500 x 500 square and put them together. The 4 images consist of Herobrine, a minecraft creepypasta, Diamond ore, Grass and the famous MC youtuber dream.

These images are relevant to my product and thats why i included them in the simple icon

Setting Up Anchor:

By the time i realised that i needed to document the anchor process i had already gone through the menus with my account. So i set up a temporary account so i can still present the process i went through.

Here is the screen you are presented with on the dashboard, it was easy to use so i clicked "Let's do it"

Here i created my own audio that i intended to use for the example account trailer. this feature is very simple to use and after this screenshot i added more clips and music just to see how it worked.
Very straight forward titling and description system. As you can see i named it trailer and explained the "episode"
Here is where you sort out the formating. the episode/season number, if its a full episode, trailer or a bonus and its pg rating. as you can see i added my custom icon for the trailer. above this was a setting where you could schedule the release of the episode which i think is extemely useful.
Now im done, just press yes and the podcast gets sent to a handful of companies through the RSS feed.
